On April 25, 2006, at the Rice-Eccles Stadium Tower, the Salt Lake City Bicycle Collective received a "2006 Commuter Vision Award" from the Utah Transit Authority (UTA).

The Utah Transit Authority Rideshare Department established the Commuter Vision Awards in 1997 as a means of recognizing individuals, businesses, and agencies and maintaining alternative transportation programs along the Wasatch Front.
