Would you like to see our shop open more hours? So would we! You can help by volunteering.

Activities at our shop include refurbishing bicycles, community mechanic and safety courses and weekly Volunteer Work Parties. Donated and discarded bikes are lovingly refurbished here by shop staff and volunteers. The volunteers at the community bike shop can barter their work hours for various goods and services. Employment opportunities are also offered to at risk youth when resources allow. Donations of any and all bikes and bike parts are currently accepted for reuse and recycling at our shop.

Volunteer Work Parties, held at our shop Mondays 5-9pm, are open to the public. Members of the Collective and members of the community meet to refurbish bicycles and have a good time. Please feel free to attend if you need a bike, want to donate a bike or just want to learn more about the SLC Bike Collective. It's a perfect time to learn more about bicycle mechanics and we welcome any volunteers who want to help refurbish bikes for those who are in need.
