Scholarship to be awarded
This year, the 10th Annual Utah Philanthropy Day begins a new tradition. Two scholarships, $1,000 each, will be awarded to students in a degree program at a public or private college or university in Utah who demonstrate a commitment to work in the nonprofit field.

To apply, students will complete an essay describing past nonprofit experience and future career plans in the field. They will also comment on the basis for their commitment to public service. A letter of recommendation is also required.
Deadline for application is November 4, 2008.

Highlights from 2008 Annual Nonprofit Conference

The 2008 Annual Nonprofit Conference was a great success, thanks to all attendees, speakers, and vendors.

Keynote speaker, Darian Rodriguez Heyman, the Executive Director of the Craigslist Foundation challenged us to ask ourselves, "What would you do if you knew you could not fail?"
